Go Social

These days, it’s not enough to just have a static website, business owners need to engage with their customers.  Facebook and Twitter are growing in leaps and bounds and offering great new tools for business owners.  Before jumping in too far with with these social networks, it is best to create a plan for managing these communication tools.  Nothing worse than starting a page and then leaving it to get moldy after a few months. Most experts recommend posting at least 2 – 3 times per week to one of your networks.   That takes time and energy to post content and without a plan, you could end up in a comment firestorm.

Mobile Marketing

Smart Phone usage is growing in leaps and bounds.  Is your business listed on mobile searches?   Is your website mobile-friendly?  The best way to start with Mobile Marketing is to check your web traffic counter and watch how many visitors are accessing your site using a mobile phone.  If it is gaining and getting over 5 percent, it may be time to put your mobile marketing plan in action.

What I like best about mobile marketing is QR Codes or Quick Response Codes.  I’ve been busy this summer making QR Codes for my clients to post at their place of business or in ads.

Email Marketing Success

It may seem “old fashioned” to send emails to customers with all the social media networks and mobile tools available today, but Email still works!
